I was coming back from the gym, and crossing a major intersection downtown. Two jerks in a white truck decided it would be a good idea to, as they turned the corner that I was crossing at, accelerate towards the pedestrian! I literally had to jump out of the way - there was about 15 inches between my foot and the front wheel. And then, to add insult to potential injury, they waved, laughed, and yelled out their window at me. What makes men do this? I've never encountered a man who's experienced street harassment. But this was so scary. What makes them think that this is okay, to try to inspire this terror? I don't know if you've ever ha

My computer is back! I'm celebrating by editing some (most? not quite there yet) of the photographs I've taken this weekend. For those of you who are out of the Facebook-Flickr loop, my laptop had been on the counter... and then water spilled onto that counter... and then bad things happened. But, after Mike + Shane at the Apple store helped me out, it's good as new! So anyways. Life is good, despite its hiccups. Have a good night!

How do you handle it when someone that you've dedicated two years short two months of your life to decides that hey, it's not actually all that important that you're in his life after all? just wondering.
